In late October 2024 me, my Dad, my brothers went on a trip of a lifetime with Captain Ken and Stephen. It was absolutely amazing to say the least. The hunting was tough that week for the deer, mainly because it poured rain 4 out of the 5 days we hunted. We still managed to get a few black tail on the ground. The biggest game changer though for hunting in those cold wet conditions was the boat and the hunting shed in the back of the boat. Every time we would come in from hunting in the cold rain you could go dry everything out in the shed for your next hunt. That shed changes everything about how you hunt because of having the tumble dryer and boot dryer in the warm shed. You don’t mind if something ends up getting wet like you absolutely could not allow to get wet if you were in a tent. The shed was also great for cutting up your deer meat in the warmth and putting it into the freezers they have onboard also. This is definitely something we want to do again someday. It was just enough mix of hard hunting with the luxury of being able to get warm and dry with a cup of coffee on a boat afterward that made it one of the most fun hunts of my life. Thank you Ken and Stephen for the time of our lives!

In early November my boys and I left our MN confines and were lucky enough to spend a week with captain Kevin and Richard aboard the Sentinel looking for blacktails and sea ducks. Kevin and Richard went out of their way to make sure we had everything they could help us with and accommodated all our needs on our schedule. Great people. What a place to hunt deer and the duck hunting is as good as you could ever ask for. We have Harlequins at the taxidermist already! Owner Ken and Capitan Kevin were very accommodating hosts and will do what they can to make your trip turn into a ‘best’ memory. If I can find some willing partners I will definitely be going back. Thanks Ken. Life is too short but these memories will last forever.

Had an incredible trip with Captain Ken and the Serenity crew. Steven killed it in the kitchen which made the trip all the much better. The deer hunting was hot and heavy and the bucks were fired up hitting the dirt “snow” left and right. Got a few bonus bucket list ducks to put on the wall along with some great fishing. 10/10 recommend these guys for a black tail hunt! They killed it!

I hunted Mountain Goat with Captain Ken in September of 2024, and all I have to say is good things about his operation. Ken’s friendly and easy going demeanor made this caliber of trip much less stressful than it could be. Ken also provides excellent logistical support in Cordova, from gear staging and a bunk house with beds showers and LAUNDRY! So huge after the hunt.
The hunt was the coolest mountain goat hunt I’ve ever been on. Pack in, self supported, for a week. Ken was our check in and emergency contact, which was excellent. Ken does everything he can to put his hunters in the best areas, and not to over pressure the game, and IT SHOWS!!! We had zero competition and a ridge loaded up with goats. Black-Bears-a-plenty too, if that’s your thing. My friend and I doubled up on goats, so there were some darn heavy packs coming out, but that’s a good thing! If you’ve got the time to wait, and the back to haul it out, you could walk away with a Billy goat of a lifetime on this hunt. We saw a lot of them, they look like albino Buffalo that can defy gravity.
We were a couple hours late for our pick-up, due to packs over 140lbs, but that didn’t bother Ken at all. Instead he had a Lord of the Rings quote ready to go, and some chicken wings and drinks in the cab of his bow-picker. Back in Cordova, Ken was just as helpful as before the hunt.

I signed up for the hunt on the Sentinel with the captain Kevin who worked his butt off to retrieve ducks and to put us in prime locations to get our trophy birds. I brought 3 boxes and used every bit of it and got my harlequins, barrows and scoters plus a couple of buffleheads to boot. Every morning we woke up to a solid breakfast and returned to a great dinner from Richard. I would recommend this hunt/experience to anyone. 5-Stars

Me and my buddies went out with Ken and Steve after some black bears. The knowledge and equipment Ken has to get you exactly where you want to be in a safe manner was more than I ever could have expected in the Alaskan weather. We all got the Alaskan adventure we where going for but the ability to dry our gear in the boat, and the great meals Steve made each day made it a lot easier to recover and go back out the next day. Can’t wait to get back out there on the Serenity with Ken and Steve!

We spent a week with Kevin on the sentinel . I don’t have enough good things to say . We killed deer, duck and enjoyed every second . Kevin went out of his way to make it comfortable and enjoyable . Richard cooked all of our meals. He knocked it out of the park . One of the best trips we have been on .

Had a great time with Ken and Stephan. This was our first boat hunt and my group had a great time. The accommodations on the boat were very comfortable and nice. Ken is very knowledgeable about the area and tried his best to get us on black bear, deer, fish, sea ducks etc. There seemed to always be something to do between fishing and hunting so there was never a dull moment. Shout out to Stephan the food was fantastic and the camaraderie and jokes were so easy. Also Big bonus points in my book for being able to shoot your rifle to double check the airport didn’t bump your scope before going out to sea, that was super helpful! This hunt definitely isn’t for the weak but these two sure made it pretty dang comfortable.

Ken and Stephen run an amazing hunting experience for anyone. Killed some ducks and seen some deer. Everyone in our group killed but two. We all slayed ducks. The food was amazing thanks to Stephen. 10/10 experience, I’m definitely going back.
This was hands down the most fun hunt I’ve ever been on. Not only did we see plenty of deer we got to see bears too. We were able to get ducks and geese as well. And to top it all off the guides are some of the best people ever. Definitely going back sooner then later!!

We just returned from Double Bay on Hinchinbrook hunting deer. He picked us up in Valdez and we made it to Double Bay in about 2 1/2 hours, great ride. He put us right on the grass next to the cabin so off loading all our stuff and hauling it to the cabin didn't take any time at all. He picked us back up after a week on time and brought us back to Valdez where we unloaded right into the truck. We went out with him last year also and received the same great service. We went out in Eastern Prince William Sound this past fall with Kenny to chase blacktail deer, and had an absolute blast! While we didn’t hit the best weather window we were still able to connect on several deer, which gave us plenty of tenderloin & backstrap for the skillet! Kenny is a very nice guy with a “can do” attitude, all the while feeling 100% safe on his boat navigating through the Sound. Looking forward to booking a boat-based goat with him next fall.
